Carol was good to work with. She provided me all of the information I needed, but then totally backed me when I made a decision - even if it wasn't what she recommended. For example, we put the house on the market for more than she had recommended, since I felt the Durham market would support a number that really was too high based on market research and tax assessment. (And it worked out great, by the way, with offers above the list price.)
As an example of her professionalism: the buyer's lawyer was pretty obnoxious, to both of us, but she kept her cool and handled it well. (I plan to send a letter to him in a few weeks, when I have better perspective, to suggest that he find a way to deal with women that is not patronizing.)
So yes, I am happy that Carol persisted in contacting me (in low key and appropriate ways) so that when I really was ready to sell, we got it done quickly and happily.
