Pat went over and above to make this house-buying easier for me. She knew what needed to be done and communicated all the time with me, explaining what was meant by various terms and what my choices were. She even offered to make a special presentation to the sellers when she realized we would need to go over the asking price. Then she suggested that I write them a letter, which I did. The sellers said that the presentation and the letter were what made them decide on us...even though there were TWO OTHER OFFERS THAT WERE HIGHER, Pat said. We ran into some paperwork problems, so the closing was delayed a week; Pat even came to the IRS with me when we were trying to figure out what the problem was. Pat is dogged (she gets it from her dog :-) ) and will leave no stone unturned to make a deal work. She also advised me on the selling of my mother's house when that realtor went on vacation and didn't leave anyone else in charge (Alain Pinel, by the way). My brothers and I were thankful for her help and explanations of what things meant, whether or not they were important, etc. I am recommending her to friends and now to a banker from Wells Fargo here in Novato who is in the process of getting pre-qualified and said he is looking for a reliable realtor. Go Pat!
