Clyde told me with confidence on day 1 that he will get my husband and I the keys to our home, and he delivered. We were searching aggressively for 3 months in not-so-ideal conditions for a buyer (very low inventory and interest rates that shot up a whole percent in the first month we were searching). House hunting is innately filled with ups and downs (most of them downs, until you find the one), but Clyde was there for us through every phone call, text, document review,or home walk-through we wanted. This market is filled with all sorts of people that are "real estate agents" and it can be overwhelming deciding on who to pick, but I found that with Clyde, you get someone who really gets to know you and your needs, is patient, and looks out for your long-term interests. You will truly feel like you are Clyde's only client and a friend. He will warn you if a property is not a good buy, and he will push you if you need to get documentation done ASAP in order to get ahead of other buyers/sellers.
Now that we have our beautiful new home, we are a little sad that we don't talk to Clyde on a daily basis, but we gained lifelong friends in Clyde and his wife. Working with Clyde takes so much of the stresses of home buying off of you, that we actually had a fun, great, experience. Everyone told us home buying is stressful, but we truly had no stress (but we had fun), with many thanks to Clyde for his honesty, hard work, and answering any and every question we had. His many, many, years of experience are evident in the way he can read the market and read in between the lines of the other (either buyer/seller, opposite of whatever you are) agent.
I have plenty of close friends, coworkers, and some family that have real estate licenses that could have sold me a house, but I chose to go with Clyde and his wife to search for our home.
