Zip's Seattle Team Hits a Home Run with Clients

Our Seattle team recently held a client appreciation event to thank everyone who bought or sold a home last year with us … and they had a “ball” of a time!

It was one of those epic Seattle days – 85 degrees, no clouds, no wind – basically, the summer day that Seattleites spend the entire summer dreaming of.  Our crew of over 150 Zip clients and agents were let into the Safeco stadium 1 hour before the public, where a sweet set-up awaited them in a private section of the left field: cold beer, Zip SWAG, and deli sandwiches.  Better yet, they were able to explore the stadium and get a close-up look of the players warming up – hitting homers and foul balls – before anyone else came in. Our CEO Lanny Baker was there for the fun, and told us that several Zip clients and agents even "caught" some of the foul balls.

“Getting into the stadium early and watching batting practice from the left field wall was a blast,” Lanny said, adding, “but the best part of the whole thing was spending a beautiful summer evening chatting with ZipRealty’s clients about the homes they bought, the homes they’ve sold and the experiences they’ve had working with our spectacular team of all-star agents.”

Shane Green, Zip’s Seattle Broker, echoed those thoughts, saying, “It was great opportunity for us office folks to get out and shake hands with our clients, and meet everyone face to face!”

All told, over 100 ZipRealty clients joined our Seattle team for baseball, beer, and conversation, and together they cheered on the Seattle Mariners to a 5 – 3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays!
