Here is a common question I get from clients: IS IT A GOOD TIME TO BUY? TO SELL?

My answer is as follows: It depends! Yes, I said "it depends". The market is always changing, and while it looks like its bottomed out the bigger variable here is YOU! Every person is in a different aspects and phase of their life - the same answer may not be relevant for everyone. I say this because for some, it's not a good time .... for others, it is a good time ... and yet for others, it's a wash. Of course, this doesn't answer your question, but I suggest you sit down with a financial planner and look at your life goals, your job, your age to retirement, any possibility of shifting jobs/markets, and a whole host of other personal type factors. I'm happy to refer you to a GREAT financial planner in the Los Angeles area, if you need one. I'm not trying to convince you one way or the other - it's all about what's the "best fit" for you and "for you NOW".
