Bobby has been awesome in all aspects of this transaction. From the time that we started searching for a house to the time of closing, he has demonstrated great customer service and knowledge at each step of the process. Bobby demonstrated a lot of patience and commitment in showing us the potential houses, no matter what the price range and the back and forth changes of what we were looking for. We were the first time home buyers and pretty much had no idea where to start. We met Bobby at an open house where he introduced us to the initial steps of buying a home – get pre-qualified for the loan! As many families in these tough economic times, our family had some financial issues, and though we got finally pre-qualified, this process went through several iterations of interactions with the banks where the amount of loan would change. We would tell Bobby, now let’s look for a house around $300K, then two weeks later – no, we need a house for $200K, fixer-uppers Ok, then went back to $300K. Then eventually we found one! Here is where Bobby is really exceptional. We had a bad experience with the seller’s agent. He was putting all kinds of roadblocks in the transaction to slow things down. He did not give the tenants who were renting the house a timely notice to move out; he would sit on documents for a week, then tell us we have to sign immediately because tomorrow is a deadline. He would try to put amendments to the contract in the middle of the transaction… But there was Bobby, and he was staying on top of things all the time! It is because of his personal skills in dealing with such tough people that the escrow was eventually closed. Bobby was awesome because I could call him any time and always got a hold of him. Sometimes we would spend half an hour to an hour on the phone discussing what we should be doing next to make sure the transaction closes. Bobby also gave a lot of encouragement because at times we thought this is not going to go anywhere, we have to forfeit out deposit and start over. And finally, when the bank said we needed to fix windows (in the garage!) in order to get the loan funded, Bobby was there on the last day before close of escrow to help us put them in. I would highly recommend Bobby to anyone buying a house because he is not an average realtor who can close a transaction when it is simple, but will go out of his way to get things done when everything seems to go wrong.
