Helping others is my passion. I first got into the real estate industry because I was tired of hearing how agents didn't listen and didn't care about people and all they cared about was making money. The only way I knew to prove people wrong was to show them! I have been in the real estate industry since 2001 so I have seen the best of the best markets and the worst of the worst. With all of the ups & downs our industry has suffered, I still find it rewarding to help a first time home buyer... Show more »

I rarely write reviews; however, in this case I think I need to since I was very dissatisfied with the service from Terracia. Overall, Terracia and I had an appointment to meet on a Sunday to view some houses and Terracia was MIA (missing in action) on Sunday. I called on Sunday and text with no answer or call back. Very unprofessional. I understand if two people don't vibe, its good to part ways but if there was an appointment to meet, then the two should meet and if one doesn't want to move forward in the client/real estate agent relationship, then give a courtesy call to the client and give feedback to the client on why and then part ways. Just don't leave a client waiting. I am assuming that Terracia received a couple more home viewing requests from me then she may have wanted to spend on Sunday and decided that she didn't want to work with me. NOt sure?? Regardless, not a good enough reason to be a no show and not even call me to cancel our meeting. Background: I am a part-time real estate investor who currently owns multiple homes (in other states) and planning to relocate to Atlanta for my full time profession. I was in Atlanta for 3 days looking at potential Atlanta houses to purchase while in town for business. I would pay cash for my next real estate purchase and I was very educated with potential houses, from using Zip Realty. On a Saturday, Terracia and I spoke regarding seeing some homes and we agreed that we would meet on Sunday at a specific time to view such properties. Terracia was very pleasant on the phone when we spoke on Saturday and I looked forward to working with her and seeing the foreclosure homes available in East Atlanta. We also spoke that I may send her some other home addresses or MLS #s (from Zip realty), via text if I saw any other homes of interest. I sent Terracia multiple texts that Saturday afternoon for her to try to schedule a viewing for as many as we could see that was convenient for Terracia's time and my time while I was in town on Sunday. My experience is that even if a house is "active and available" there may be some challenges in the buyer agent receiving the key or lock box #s, etc. or a timely response from certain selling agents; hence, I knew we may not be able to see all of the homes from my requests. So, if I requested to see 8 homes, and we saw 4, then that would be a win win for me; especially, of the short time frame I had for that weekend. So, to finish this review out, I think Terracia should have just called me back and cancelled on Sunday with reasons why, or just informed me that she only had time to view, let's say 4 houses, from 1pm to 3pm. Not calling or texting me back was unprofessional. Open communication on both parties is needed to have good professional relationships. I did not experience this from Terracia. Thanks
