Cephas lead my husband and I through our first home purchase, and boy was it a doozy! He was so wonderful to work with though, meeting us when we were available (which is hard because my husband is a teacher and works long hours). He was understanding of the market, and knew that when we found the one we wanted we needed to move on it quick. He knew how to work with other agents, and all of the professional references he gave us, from mortgage handler to termite inspector were reliable, affordable and showed the same quick response time that Cephas did. Even when we were scared that the house purchase might be in jeopardy because one of the owners passed away, Cephas was right on top of the situation making sure that our dream home didn't get away, and now we're moving in! I would happily recommend Cephas to any of my friends or family, and if you're shopping for a house in either Santa Clara or Santa Cruz county he's the man with the knowledge and the know-how to get you the house you want.

Cephas was wonderful, so professional. He did not give up even when I was ready to. I was really asking for a very specific piece of property within a near impossible price range, and had a definite idea where it should be. This house was all in my head, and I was asking for the moon, but he never, ever said it was not possible and he found just what I wanted at a great price and he put in extra hours when I had to depart on a business trip to Australia while all the documentation was going through. Thank you Cephas, you are the best!

When I decided to purchase a home here I took a chance and called Zip realty on a Saturday afternoon. Minutes later I received a call from Cephas and he proceeded to identify and show me many houses in the area that were within my price range., I ,in fact, decided to purchase one of those houses about a week later. Cephas's attention to detail and responsiveness allowed me to accomplish the closing in a timely manner. His understanding of the area and the process allowed us to be accepted on the first offer. I would recommend him for anyone serious about purchasing a house in the San Jose area. I guarantee that you will be satisfied with the performance and professionalism of Cephas. Boy am I really glad that he was the one who responded to my request from Zip Realty.

I am impressed with Cephas's quickness in response to my request. We never met before.
I called him at 6 ish pm, he returned my call within an hour. By 10 pm in the evening, he had picked out 5 properties to see the next day and for me to get to know them. We saw all the properties in next afternoon, the offer was sent the following day. It would not have happened without his hard work and great communication skill. He has good knowledge of the properties and knows what he is selling and what is worth to see.
Acting fast is important in today's real estate market. He could have ignored my call or taken time to get back to me like many other agents did. Those agents are real losers.

Cephas is a down to earth straight forward guy which was a welcomed surprise being new to the Bay Area. He was diligent in answering questions and working with the lender and other parties to facilitate the purchase of our home. We were greatly pleased with his commitment (sometimes answering phone calls and responding to emails during late night hours.) Cephas went above and beyond to aid in the transition into the home. He even aided with finding contractors to do renovations after the purchase of the home (while we were out of town.)

In a few words- I couldn't be happier with my agent! he was thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and on the ball at all times. I was always amazed how quickly he'd return my calls or emails. He made me feel like my purchase was very important.
I truly appreciate his diligence, like when he drove over to my property in pouring rain and storm to meet with a contractor and ended up taking photos of the water damage to the utility room which eventually saved me $2,500 on the final purchase price!
I would highly recommend Cephas to friends and family:-)

Cephas worked until late night putting together an offer for me on what turned out to be a very attractive short sale. The following morning we were the first to place an offer on the house - beating out two other offers - and had the offer immediately accepted. He hung in there patiently during the whole process dealing with the banks, etc., and in the end I'm the happy owner of a new home!
