Shannon is one part runway model and one part honey badger. While she is one of the most professional of professionals she remained down-to-earth enough that I never felt intimidated by my first-time home buying experience.
As a single adult, I had assumed that I could not afford a home in the Richmond area. Not only did she find me an amazing home, she did it on her first try, and easily in my price range.
If you were looking at the bullet points and wondering why I did not check all of them it was because she never had the chance to demonstrate all of those qualities. I can assure you she has them.
I offer you one warning: If you are "on the fence" about buying a home do not seek Shannon Murray. She is here to put you in the home you want and she does not waste any time. Don't worry, she still checks-in with me weekly, to make sure myself and my new home are doing great.
If you are serious about buying a home and you are looking for an awesome realtor to get you through the whole process then you can stop looking, because you just found her.

Shannon was absolutely wonderful to work with. During the search process she was in daily contact with me, sending me potential properties via email and following up by phone. She is very clear and professional in understanding my needs and focusing on those in her search, weeding out undesirable properties and not wasting my time or hers. When we did find the right home, late in the evening and working with my crazy work schedule, she was candid in offering guidance in making an offer that was not far off the final deal. For an enjoyable selling or buying experience, you can't do better than Shannon!

Shannon made herself available for is to look at many houses. After two offers fell through we settled on a short sale. It was a nightmare dealing with the banks but Shannon was there the whole way. She did everything she could to make the process go smoothly. I do understand that agents work on commission so in truth they actually work for the seller, but I always felt she had my interests in mind, and she was NEVER pushy. (i had past agents that seemed to forget I was the one spending money and therfor entitled to make decisions) She made herself avl for viewings at times there were convenient for me. I would recommend her to anyone that was looking to buy.
