This was our first experience as home buyers and it was an absolute pleasure working with Melinda. She guided us through every step in the process, extremely patient and quick in responding to any questions we had.She quickly gauged what we were looking for in a house and she would recommend houses based on our likes and also would let us know if she thought a house might not be to our liking looking at the listings. This weeding out made our search more efficient. She was always on time for every appointments, very prompt in responding even over weekends or late evenings. Once we found our dream home,she recommended a mortgage company, attorney and home inspection company. And needless to say they were all extremely efficient and friendly. They work extremely well together in the best interest of the client and would think ahead of any issues that could pop up and propose solutions to overcome if any.The dates for inspection, P&S and closing were close , so Melinda was on top of it to make sure that we finished each step of it on time if not earlier. Everything went by smoothly. Kudos to Melinda for making the stressful process of buying a house as stress free and pleasurable as it could get! We are so glad we found Melinda. I highly recommend her.

In one word 'Fantabulous', was the experience while looking for our first home with Melinda. She is not just any other agent pushing for number of homes to wrap it sooner, contrary to that she carefully select homes based on your choices and even don’t hesitate to pass any place if she found any issues with them even if we like them. As any first time home owner we didn't knew any of the procedure and were nervous initially, but she explained us the whole process and never hesitated or agitated in answering our silly questions which we asked again and again. Not just she helped us in narrowing down the area, budget and houses she helped us in connecting with the Mortgage Company, lawyer and home inspection services as well. All of them worked genuinely with their best intent for making sure we have no issues in closing and being the first time home owner. She was always available whether it was weekday, weekend and even in night. I remember she collected the Radon test samples during the blizzard and took them to lab on her own. I feel we were lucky that we found Melinda. The whole experience went so smooth, which wasn't possible without her. She is a rock star of her profession with a genuine smile and caring for home buyers.

My situation (i.e. and expat moving from the UK to the US) meant that things were not easy. As someone with no US credit history and still living in the UK, buying a house can be very challenging. I am also someone who likes to analyse lots of data before making a purchase decision. Not only did Melinda do the usual showing of houses, but was a great source of local information. Her cool calm and collected demeanour ensured that even when the road got a little rocky, she was there with solutions. She was able to put me in touch with a great mortgage broker (remember I had no credit history), and great attorney and made what was potentially a very stressful time, pretty smooth sailing.
