Mark was very patient through thre whole process of purchasing our new home. It was a long proces due a lot different factors that came up during our search. Mark was always there to answer all questions and handled many problems that we encountered. He never let us down.

Mark helped us find our first home in Smyrna. He is very patient and started by showing us a wide variety of homes in our price range and areas of interest, to better understand what we were looking for. Mark helped us get a feel for the value of some of the houses we were looking at by bringing research on comparable homes to our views of homes. Once the process of buying the house started, Mark was able to explain the process to us so that we knew what to expect, at least so far as the stressful home buying process can be expected. Mark is very personable and we did not feel pressured to purchase any particular home. Mark was able to point out both pros and cons of nearly every property we looked at and was a big help in making us feel like we were making the right choices. He is a long time resident of Cobb County and knows the local areas really well, so he will be able to help you find some of the out of the way neighborhoods you might want to consider. If we have any complaints, it is about the home listing tool used by Mark and Metro Brokers, which did not allow for the kind of granularity in home selections we wanted (i.e. no stucco) and we ended up looking through listings for homes that we had already disqualified based on some criteria we had already, so you may wish to have Mark review any listings before sending them to you if you have a similar set of 'No house with XXX' requirements. Mark was able to meet with us an accommodate some shifting schedules near the end of the process, which really helped us make sure no deadlines were missed.

Mark is a great agent to have when you are into something as important as buying a home. He is very responsive to your needs, will return emails and calls as soon as possible. He has good knowledge of the construction industry and helps you make the right buying decision. He is polite and does not hestitate to answer questions that are not really his domain but he has knowledge of so that you can make informed decisions on your whole buying process. I will recommend Mark to any of my friends.

Once we went binding, I felt that communication and followup on the subsequent items had to always be prompted. Our closing was delayed several days due to lack of seller documentation for a tax lien yet I didn't find this out until I called to check on status 1 business day before closing. I had asked for more frequent status updates and investigation on a FSBO opportunity while I was out of the country, yet I never received any over a 2+ week period. Mark is very knowledgeable, has solid/sound home evaluation advice, and typically very responsive during the investigative period, but I think he needs to ensure his client connection doesn't suffer/alter in any way until after the closing.
