I was extremely pleased with Chris Hanway's handling of the sale of my house. Four years ago, when I first moved to the area, Chris helped me purchase the house, and having been pleased with the job he had done back then, I called him up when I planned to move out-of-state. He was professional, competent, and friendly, but most importantly, I received a full-price offer on my house in less than 36 hours due to his efforts. In particular, I felt that Chris worked with me well by giving his expert advice, but also listening to what I wanted - for example, regarding my desire to price the house a little higher. He warned me of the potential downfalls, but ultimately worked with me to find agreement on a satisfactory asking price. Second, he made himself available whenever I needed something, at times, going above and beyond to ensure proper marketing of the house. For example, before pictures were to be taken, he came over to help me make sure that my house was staged as well as possible. This was very useful given my lack of experience, and lack of furniture and other possessions useful for properly displaying a home's potential. My girlfriend requested that he literally walk through our house with us, and tell us everything we should hide away or display in a different manner, and he did so willingly and respectfully. I believe this made an enormous impact on how great our pictures looked; I believe it was the very reason the house sold so quickly; and I could not have done this on my own. Second, he was very respectful regarding my girlfriend's cat. At one point, the buyer wanted to see the house while we were out of town, and Chris made sure to go to the house, and verify that the cat had not gotten locked in a closet. My girlfriend appreciated this very much. He did a fantastic job, had I not moved out of state, I would have continued to solicit his services in my future real estate transactions.

Chris was outstanding. He bent over backwards to drive us ALL over the place until we found a home that was just right. Then he was very helpful in shepherding things through during all stages.
