Honest, helpful, and flexible! Marissa made sure I got the house I wanted and not just any house. She was willing to work at my pace (which was pretty fast) and work around my schedule. Each step of the process she was straight forward and made sure each person I interacted with (inspector etc.) was of high caliber and got me the most detailed and trustworthy information. Here local contacts from mortgage lender to locksmith were all fantastic to work with. She made a first time homebuyer feel the process was enjoyable, without leaving out any of the important nitty gritty details.

Until my partner and I met Marissa, we weren't even sure we wanted to buy a home. I'd been looking casually online for about a year, and after a dismal open house experience it was near impossible to get my partner to go on another home visit. Add to that the endless paperwork associated with buying a home, and renting started to look pretty good again.
When we finally found a property that both of us thought promising, we contacted Marissa and scheduled a visit. She asked us a lot of questions and paid close attention to the the little things we mentioned in passing. We thought we liked it ok and saw two other homes, but she already knew the first one was for us. It turned out there was fierce competition for that one, and Marissa gave us a lot of really helpful advice for bidding on--and eventually getting--the property.
Throughout the buying process, Marissa was super responsive. There were some issues with the both the sellers and the mortgage broker that required a lot of back and forth, and she always called as soon as she had an update. The paperwork was plentiful as expected, but everything was done online which was very convenient. All in all it was a pretty smooth experience, and we were in our new home within six weeks.
I highly recommend Marissa for anyone looking for a new home, but especially for first-time buyers. She was patient, responsive, and answered all of our many questions, which made the home buying process a lot less scary/stressful. And when the time comes for us to buy another home, we would absolutely go to her again. Thanks, Marissa!

Marissa went above and beyond to get us into a home in a very competitive local market. She listened to our needs, communicated effectively, and knew the local market extremely well. Not only did she help us find the house, from day one of escrow through the actual close, Marissa was also available to answer all of our questions and she followed through with any issues with the lender, appraiser, and escrow company. When all was said and done it was a house that she recommended that we visit that ended being the house for us.
She has unique insights about the market that would help any buyer and seller feel comfortable about the market. We would not hesitate to recommend her.
