We found Jeffrey via the Zip Realty website. Work required a relocation to the Dallas area, a place we had never visited and knew very little about, so we got on the internet to see what we could learn. On the Zip site were a few realtors, and we sent brief Emails requesting some preliminary information to them.
Jeffery was the 1st to respond. I think this is worth mentioning because it became a reliable pattern for our time working with Jeffrey, contact him and you will hear back. Soon.
We flew in a couple times and looked at a bunch of houses with Jeffrey, but the right place eluded us, partly because the market was heating up and houses in our budget and the areas we were looking, were getting offers within days of being listed.
Then a nice house, in our target area and budget, came on the market. But we couldnít get to Dallas to see it and we knew it would go fast. Called Jeffery and asked him to look at the house, and he said it was one of the best, within our criteria, that had come on the market during our search. We told him to put in an offer. Yes, we asked him to put in an offer on a house that we had only seen in pictures, because he said it was good. A couple days later we were able to see the house and confirm that it was, indeed, that good. So good, in fact, that there were multiple offers on the house that had been on the market for just a couple days.
Fast forward through home inspection (Jeffrey helped with that), and financing (Jeffrey also had local contacts for that), to meeting the sellers. The sellers told us that Jeffrey was the 1st Realtor to look at the house and that he had spent some time talking to the sellers to learn about the house for us, but he also told them about us and our relocation adventure. The seller told us that when they were evaluating offers ours came out on top because of the way Jeffrey humanized us during that visit.
Jeffrey is a pro. Realty is all he does, heís been doing it a while, and heís good at it. Donít worry that he doesnít live or have an office in the neighborhood you are looking at, because heís probably bought or sold property in that area before and knows the area just fine.
