We had a challenging close with an uncooperative seller, so John's job was made more difficult because the seller wasn't fulfilling his obligations under the contract. John did a good job in maintaining communication with me, and making every effort to enforce our contract. We closed on time, after all, and that was our highest priority. John was responsive to my calls, and I felt that he did everything possible to meet my expectations and enforce our contract.
There were some weaknesses that could be improved: we had a problematic contract and I did not get everything I asked for in the contract. John did not make it clear which refrigerator I wanted (the kitchen one) and I ended up with a piece of trash from the garage. Secondarily, we did not ask for the unattached iron gate for the courtyard to be left, so it was removed by the seller -- John should have thought to ask for that because I talked about wanting it.
Overall, this was a difficult closing; John made it possible to close on time and was required to do a lot of extra time and effort to make that happen.
