Where to begin? You want someone with absolute mastery of their craft? You call Russell. You want someone with relentless pursuit of perfection? You call Russell. You want someone to represent you with absolute integrity? You call Russell. You want someone you can call on through thick and thin? You call Russell. You want someone who understands the real estate marketplace and how you might fit into it as a seller or buyer? You call Russell. You want someone who recommends the best course of action for you, regardless of whether it benefits him more or not? You call Russell. You want someone with a steady hand to guide you when the current gets swift and large obstacles appear through the fog? You call Russell. You want someone to represent you when selling or buying in a hot market when things start to fly fast? You call Russell. You want someone who can handle the tough ones and still maintain his sense of humor? You call Russell.
OK, so why haven't you called Russell?
Think I'm a plant, a pal, or a shill? Not so. My wife and I knew who Russell was because we have dogs and he has dogs, so we ran into each other around our building regularly. We didn't know him personally at all. He seemed like a pleasant guy with a warm glow, apparently stoked by the rewards of a rich and long-lasting relationship. Who can't love someone who loves dogs?
I've been through 25 real estate transactions over the years and my wife and I usually like to interview more than one agent before we decide each time who will represent us. No need this time. It was apparent from the moment that Russell showed up for a formal meeting that he knew his stuff: He easily convinced us through his confident portrayal of the current real estate marketplace and how our loft unit fit into that picture that he would be the best possible person to handle the sale. No canned dialogue, no nationally approved scripts, no BS; just a clear picture of what the options were, then we decide. I can't tell you how refreshing this was. He didn't try to buy our listing with an unrealistic asking price, but he also didn't sell the property short. Our loft sold in 6 days for 6% over the asking price. Partly the market, mostly Russell's approach.
Not many of us find the perfect fit between our talents and the job we do. Russell has found his bliss. It only makes sense for others to share in the pleasure of working with him. I'm sure Russell isn't right for everyone, no one person is right for everyone else. If you take the real estate business seriously, while retaining a sense of humor about yourself, Russell is your perfect partner. I dished out a lot of bad humor as a way of keeping the stress at bay and Russell took it and gave better back. In this day of lowered expectations, this guy was the real deal and this was the smoothest real estate transaction we've ever had.
And you can't ask for more than that.
So Call Him Already!!!
