Michael was very prompt in everything that he did, which was great. There were a few things that would prevent me from hiring him again though: 1. Fliers looked unprofessional. Updated price was struck through with a hand marked pen mark with the new price hand written, in messy handwriting. I understand the reason to show the change, but an electronic strike through with a typed new price would look more professional than a photo copied pen mark. He didn't seem to care when I expressed a concern about this. 2. Certain documents/emails should have been managed by Michael, though he was responding quickly, he was mostly forwarding emails back and forth between folks rather than reading them and assessing the action. An example of this is the other realtor pulled the wrong property address with different HOA fees than what our house really had, Michael forwarded this with a recommendation that we lower our asking price since we didn't list our HOA fees right - had he opened the document and read it before forwarding, he would have discovered that this was a mistake entirely and that our HOA fees were listed correctly. 3. He asked me to vacuum the house and maybe this is incorrect, but I thought the realtor will manage minimal upkeep for showings, like vacuuming? 4. I am fairly certain he didn't show the house himself but once. 5. I went by the house often while it was listed (to vacuum) and old fliers with the old price were still there on multiple occasions, even after I removed them once - the old fliers were there again... Michael was very nice, very prompt, but maybe not as professional or detail oriented as I expect in a realtor.
