Nestled between the Diablo and Santa Cruz mountains in the Santa Clara Valley, Gilroy residents enjoy mild temperatures, while missing most of the coastal fog. Gilroy is home to Bonfante Gardens, California's only horticultural theme park designed for families with young children and garden lovers featuring rides, attractions, majestic gardens and the world famous Circus Trees.

The city is known for its peaceful residential environment, historic homes and quaint downtown commercial buildings steeped in the history of the West.
