Located roughly four miles north of downtown Chicago, and close to Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs baseball team, the boundaries of Roscoe Village are Addison Avenue, Ravenswood Avenue, Belmont Avenue and the Chicago River. In their leisure time, residents and visitors alike can also peruse the many antique shops located on "Antique Row." Located on a five-block stretch of Belmont Avenue from Damen to Western Avenue, the group of stores is considered to be the largest concentration of antique stores in the entire Midwest. A weekly farmer's market also draws residents and others into the neighborhood during the summer months; the Music Box Theatre on Southport attracts movie lovers, and the Mercury Theater, also on the same street, features plays, musicals, children's performances, and other events.
