Transportation in and out of the area is made easy with options all around. The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is located just nine miles east of Keller. The Fort Worth Alliance Airport can be found four miles north of the city, and it's just five miles south to the Richland Hills Light Rail Station.

New residential development is expanding the city in every direction. Today, over 30,000 residents call Keller home. Residential development is expanding the city in all directions, with homes under $100,000 to close to $2 million. Keller Independent School District has 30 campuses serving more than 20,000 students. Enrollment in the school district has doubled during the past ten years and is expected to do the same during the next decade, making it the ninth-fastest growing school district in Texas. The district includes four high schools, five intermediate school, five middle schools, and sixteen elementary schools.
