At just over 2 acres Andover is the smallest subdivision in Miami Gardens. It is conveniently located in the north-central corner of Miami-Dade right on the edge of the Broward County line. With a population of 105,457, the City of Miami Gardens is the third largest city in Miami-Dade County (after Miami and Hialeah).

Andover is located mid-way between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and is easily accessed by I-95, the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) and the Florida Turnpike. The city comprises approximately 20 square miles. Today, Andover is one of Miami-Dade's most ethnically diverse communities. It is a solid, working class community with distinctive diversity. The main business district is along NW 183rd St (Miami Gardens Drive) and 27th Avenue, the 183rd St. Flea Market sits, is a must-stop on weekends.
