Fabulous white sand beaches and all of the warmth and sunshine you need to enjoy them- but more than that. Miami Beach is all about variety. Stunning architecture to spectacular cuisine from dazzling nightclubs to unique family experiences from world-class shopping to cultural events and art venues. There really is simply too much to mention. Miami Beach is a beacon for those seeking a place to increase their knowledge, be entertained and see everything a major metropolitan city has to offer. International film festivals and car shows annually call Miami Beach home.

Miami Beach celebrates all that makes them unique--from Art Deco to art and design, from food and wine festivals to boat shows. With so much to see and do, Miami Beach offers an extensive choice of year-round activities that will keep the entire family in awe. Nightlife in Miami Beach is legendary, both for its variety and its energy. From the moment the sun sets until it rises the next day, people are moving, dancing, laughing and taking in all the sounds of this magical metropolis on the ocean. There's something here for every age and every taste.

"People watching" is a popular pastime in Miami Beaches' world famous South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants. In 1979 Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and is comprised of hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Modern and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.

The City of Miami Beach has an identity that is intrinsically linked to the arts, and today the entertainment, production and arts communities are stronger than ever. The city offers world class nightlife restaurants and boutiques and just a short drive to Coconut Grove, Downtown Miami and The Miami International Airport. Miami Beach also offers proximity to a host of recreational activities including: Countless art museums and cultural attractions, Metrozoo, Parrot Jungle and Gardens, the Miami Museum of science and Planetarium and the brand New Miami Children's Museum.
