The city of Rochester is a quiet community in Thurston County. Located south of Olympia, between Tumwater and Centralia, Rochester occupies 2.3 square miles of land. Commuting to Olympia (about 20 miles away), Tumwater, or Centralia is common for Rochester real estate owners.
