Austell is located 18 miles from the city of Atlanta and is nestled in the southern part of Cobb County, its limits extending to the boundary line between Cobb and Douglas. It's a scenic town lined with magnificent oak trees and is the perfect picture of southern living. It's convenience to Interstate 20 and Interstate 285 make it an attractive area for commuters. The Sweetwater Creek State Park isn't the only natural gem in the area. It's been said that many flock to Austell because of the superior lithia water that can be found there. On the north side of Austell five artesian wells of the Benscot Lithia Springs Company exist. The Benscot Company has been constantly beautifying its grounds, buildings, pavilions, and roadways and boasts one of the most beautiful parks in the state. The company opens their doors to the public to enjoy their health-making waters.
