Temple is located in the northwestern part of Carroll County and is home to nearly 4,000 residents. Situated 45 miles west of Atlanta and 12 miles north of Carrollton, it's a delightful Georgia town with lots of rustic charm. The area is accessible by Interstate 20 which flows right into the heart of Downtown Atlanta.

Students in Temple will attend schools in the Carroll County Public Schools System. The system currently serves approximately 14,800 students and is comprised of 22 schools. The average pupil/teacher ratio is 18:1 and all of the schools are accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Students in the area have strong test scores and over 90% of Carroll County seniors pass the Georgia High School Test on their first attempt. Students have received numerous awards and have been recognized for excellence in both academics and athletics.
Competitive private schools are convenient to the area and prestigious colleges and universities are also nearby. The State University of West Georgia is located within Carroll County where almost 9,000 students participate in numerous areas of study. West Central Technical College is also located within the area.
