San Pablo is a small 2.6 square mile town in West Contra Costa County with about 31,000 residents. San Pablo is right off Interstate 80, east of Berkeley and San Francisco and north of Oakland, between the small cities of Pinole and Richmond.
It is easy to access San Pablo via car, public transportation (Bay Area Rapid Transit is nearby), and plane (Oakland Airport is very close). San Pablo has a similar make-up to many towns across the United States as there are a number of small homes, tract housing, apartment complexes, and strip malls.
The homes available in the San Pablo real estate market run the gamut from apartment to large-family home. Prospective San Pablo homeowners will also be pleased to learn that the city's public schools are excellent.
