Krogers meets the area's grocery needs and shares a strip mall with a locally owned hardware, auto parts, and antique and other retail businesses.
For nightlife, residents frequent Lying Larry's for happy hour, the occasional improv guitar jam or, on Thursday and Friday nights, the excellent shrimp and steak buffet. Overall, the place rates as a hometown family bar and grill. Crosby students attend school in the Crosby Independent School District.
