Residents can also spend some time at the Naperville Park District's many parks, its skateboard park, playing fields, tennis courts, two 18-hole golf courses, a 124-acre sports complex, or at any of the recreational areas that are managed by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. The DuPage Children's Museum is another popular leisure-time choice.
In their spare time villagers can also take out some books from one of three branches of the Naperville Public Library, do some shopping in the thriving downtown business district, purchase some flowers or fruit at the town's Farmer's Market, attend the yearly Ribfest event, and see a performance put on by the Magical Starlight Theatre or by the Summerplace Theatre.
