Groveland, a town of 5200 residents is a residential community 31 miles north of Boston. This charming town, whose center has the atmosphere of a village, retains its country roots in a number of working farms that welcome visitors buying produce and picking fresh fruits and vegetables. The town spent its early history as part of neighboring Rowley and Bradford. It was only incorporated as an independent town in 1850. Nevertheless 17th century settlements evolved to create a historic downtown with many old buildings.
