The city stands out as the birthplace of world famous actress Julia Roberts as well as the hundreds of thousands of jonquils that bloom in early spring. These beautiful flowers have earned the city the nickname "The Jonquil City."
Smyrna boasts a mixed retail and residential district lined with antique street lamps. Residents will enjoy living amongst quaint shops and a variety of dining and entertainment options. Cobb features some of the state's best shopping as it is home to several shopping malls, including Cumberland Mall and Cobb Galleria and other retail establishments.
