The city is also convenient to nearby Rockdale County which is home to several major companies and industrial parks and some of the state's largest employers.
Lithonia residents will enjoy shopping at the recently established The Mall at Stonecrest. The mall is filled with popular retailers and the surrounding area features more stores, restaurants and entertainment options. Nearby Stone Mountain Park offers lots of recreational activities for active families and residents will enjoy socializing with their neighbors at community events throughout the year including Light Up Lithonia, and the Lithonia Summer Concert Series.
