Austell is located 18 miles from the city of Atlanta and is nestled in the southern part of Cobb County, its limits extending to the boundary line between Cobb and Douglas. It's a scenic town lined with magnificent oak trees and is the perfect picture of southern living. It's convenience to Interstate 20 and Interstate 285 make it an attractive area for commuters. Austell is home to almost 7000 residents according to 2005 population estimates by the U.S. Census.
Austell residents will enjoy shopping at nearby Arbor Place Mall and newly renovated Cumberland Mall. The area is also convenient to theaters, grocery stores, hair salons, and restaurants. Families will love the thrill of being only minutes away from Six Flags Over Georgia, the area's world-class theme park with more than 100 rides.
