Seattle seals may get an upgraded living space

After moving into one of the homes for sale in Seattle, a family may want to take a few weekend trips to local amusements such as the Seattle Aquarium. This family-friendly place tries to inspire visitors to take in the wonder of marine environments and educates them on the importance of conservation.

Located at 1483 Alaskan Way, Pier 59, the aquarium is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. It provides visitors the unique opportunity to get acquainted with marine species. In fact, the Seattle Aquarium currently is updating the harbor seal enclosure to improve guests’ experiences.

According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the seal pen was not intended to be an exhibit, and was not designed to allow visitors to easily see the seals. Therefore, a $6.5 million project may soon be launched to improve the harbor seal exhibit for inhabitants and guests.

Officials anticipate the future development of the aquarium will help entice new visitors for years to come.
