San Diego among the fastest-growing metro areas
Southern California is a beautiful place. The weather stays warm all year round, palm trees line expansive beaches and more than a few of the residents seem to be considerably more laid back than their counterparts around the United States. It is no wonder that San Diego was listed as one of the fastest growing metro areas in America, because who wouldn't want to experience life on the West Coast? There is no better time than now to consider purchasing one of the homes for sale in San Diego.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of residents in San Diego County increased by 44,756 over the course of 15 months from April of 2010 to July of 2011. This was the eighth-largest increase in the entire nation.
"Our nation is constantly changing, and these estimates provide us with our first measure of how much substate areas have grown or declined in total population since Census Day, April 1, 2010," said Census Bureau Director Robert Groves, according to PR Newswire. "We're already seeing different patterns of population growth than we saw in the last decade."
