Make sure your renovations are properly inspected in Stockton

You're probably well aware that you need to get a permit to renovate your Stockton real estate before selling it. While you're getting that sorted out, don't forget that you also need to schedule an inspection from the city's Community Development Department so they can see for themselves that your plans adhere to all current building codes.
Fortunately for you, inspection doesn't come with any hidden fees - it's covered in what you pay for your building permit application. It's an essential part of the process if you've just fixed up your plumbing, electrical, structural frame, foundation, roofing or nearly any other aspect of your house.
To schedule your inspection, you can call the automated line 24 hours a day, but you can only have the inspection take place within specific hours. For Monday through Thursday, officials are available between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m, and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
If you schedule before 5 p.m. when calling on the 24-hour line, you'll have your inspection within the next day - otherwise, you'll have to wait two working days.
