Get out of the hot weather this summer with the Philadelphia Theatre Company

As an owner of real estate in Philadelphia, PA, you may not always be aware of all of the entertainment options in and around the greater metro area. In fact, when summer rolls around, the City of Brotherly Love opens up and becomes a hotspot for tourism and outdoor events. A variety of organizations have planned numerous fun summer events in the city.

For example, the Philadelphia Theatre Company hosts the Great American Musical Summer Film Series on four consecutive Wednesday nights beginning July 11, 2012, BroadWay World News Desk reports. Each of the screenings start at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre on the cross streets of Broad and Lombard Streets. General admission tickets sell for $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 years of age and under.

The series includes movies like "Funny Girl," "Bye, Bye Birdie," "Grease" and "Dreamgirls."

Whether you're a recently relocated resident or are planning to move to Philadelphia in the coming days, you might want to attend these film screenings and meet some of your new neighbors.
