Travel internationally to and from Las Vegas
Business professionals tired of endless multi-connection flights might be able to enjoy stress-free travel in the future. Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport is scheduled to open on June 27, 2012, reports the Nevada Business Magazine. If you frequently travel globally for work, consider purchasing one of the homes for sale in Las Vegas conveniently located near the new terminal.
The extension cost $2.4 billion and is expected to eventually double international travel due to its convenient location, new and organized infrastructure and 6,000-space parking garage, reports the source.
"It means that McCarran is going to have the capacity that it needs to get up to 53 million passengers. When we’ll get to that number will be dictated by the economy and when people travel. It is an absolutely significant project in terms of the history of the airport, and what it’s going to mean for Southern Nevada," Chris Jones, Public Affairs & Marketing Manager for the Clark County Department of Aviation, told the news source.
