Help local animal shelters during the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100k Challenge in Houston
When newcomers decide to purchase one of the homes for sale in Houston, they might consider various decorations and modifications to become more comfortable. While interior changes can make a significant difference in the appearance of a property, these renovations sometimes fail to help transform a house into a home.
Some homeowners might want to consider adding a new family member to their house, such as a cat or dog. With the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) Rachael Ray $100k Challenge, Houston residents can assist in the life-saving efforts to protect local animals.
The third annual event will take place from August 2012 to October 2012, and those who visit BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions can participate. This facility is challenging residents to adopt 2,100 pets during this time frame, and will offer half-price adoption fees and special promotions during the challenge.
In 2010 and 2011, the ASPCA noted that local habitats helped save thousands of pets' lives. Shelters throughout Texas will compete until the end of October to assist these animals.
You can visit BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions to learn more about adoption and show your support for the challenge.
