Bellaire, Texas, is the city of homes
Bellaire, Texas, founded in 1908, shares a unique relationship with the city of Houston. Despite being a residential area with a strong suburban identity, it is literally surrounded by Houston on all sides, which is how its nickname, City of Homes, came to be. The city places an emphasis on creating a comfortable environment for families to enjoy.
The city is rich in its own history and has many wonderful activities for residents of Bellaire West University, TX real estate. The Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center is a great place for families to beat the Texas heat. It boasts shallow pools and water slides for children and full-sized swimming and diving pools for adults. There's also the Evergreen/Elaine Wood Therapy pool, which is heated year-round.
The Bellaire Nature Discovery Center offers educational programs for kids and seasonal activities, such as the tending of a fall pumpkin patch and spring flings.
On the Fourth of July there are parades, while during the holiday season the city makes a large amount of snow in the park for the children to enjoy (think sledding and snowball fights). All of these activities, from those at the aquatic center to Christmas events, are free for residents, making Bellaire an ideal place to raise a family.
