Small business owners in Denver get support from local programs

In tough economic times, many small businesses struggle to survive. As a result, programs and funding have been established to support their efforts. Local businesses help provide color and personality to a metro by breaking through the plethora of national brands. An individual contemplating opening his or her own store may want to consider the greater Denver area. Homes for sale in Denver are affordable, and there are many small business support initiatives available.

The South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center announced the opportunity for local business owners to attend a workshop held by a panel of lenders to explain common financing options. A meeting will be held on June 13, 2012, at the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, located at 2154 East Commons Avenue, Suite 342, in Centennial, the Denver Business Journal reports.

According to the news source, the workshop will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and admission costs $10. Small business owners are requested to register at least 48 hours in advance. Those that attend the event may not only learn something about potential financing options, but also make connections with fellow business owners in the area.
