Atlanta receives national recognition for employment opportunities
Jobs might be hard to find in many metros, but those who purchase one of the homes for sale in Atlanta may notice employment growth in the future. In July 2012, the City of Atlanta has been recognized by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) as an elite "Best and Brightest Employer," which reflects the desire of many job seekers to work in the metro.
"This recognition celebrates our commitment to employing a best-in-class workforce committed to the ongoing success of the city and a high level of customer service," Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed said.
The award displays the local government's desire to enhance the culture, leadership, mission, vision and values in the area. City Chief Operating Officer Duriya Farooqui noted the city's departments and offices show they want to help local residents by providing them with excellent customer service and jobs that can become careers.
However, being recognized for employment opportunities might be considered old hat to the Atlanta community. Two months earlier, the NABR named the local government among "Atlanta's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For," as it provides exceptional amenities and benefits to workers.
At least a dozen jobs are currently available with the City of Atlanta. Consider these job opportunities and more when reviewing the homes for sale in this metro.
