My name is Virginia Ridgeway and I moved to Colorado from the East Coast in 1976 to attend CU Boulder as a Fine Art Major. Instead, I found myself getting involved in the spiritual and alternative healing atmosphere of Boulder, and changed my major to Psychology. My name is Virginia Ridgeway and I moved to Colorado from the East Coast in 1976 to attend CU Boulder as a Fine Art Major. Instead, I found myself getting involved in the spiritual and alternative healing atmosphere of Boulder, and changed my major to Psychology. I became a personal counselor and professional consultant for 20 years, finishing my BA and getting my MA at Regis University. I raised four amazing daughters and I am the grandma of one wild five year old boy.
I became involved with the real estate and mortgage brokerage industry in 1997 when a consulting job led to an unexpected partnership in the start-up of small affiliated mortgage and real estate companies. I was surprised to discover that I enjoyed the business arena a lot and I was pleased that my skills as a counselor/consultant were so transferrable into the industry. I love that those skills allow me to really listen to my clients, to discern their needs and concerns clearly, and to help them get the property and deal that is perfectly right and best for them.
I have a broad base of experience in residential, commercial, single and multi-family homes, personal ownership and investment property transactions. Because I have experience and expertise in both the real estate and financing arenas, I am able to understand and anticipate potential issues and simply resolve them before they materialize.
What I am known for, by the people I work with, is my creativity, integrity and personalized service. In my spare time, I garden, work-out at the gym, run, cook fabulous meals, listen to the blues (and dance!), travel, and spend quality time with my family and friends. I am a huge sci fi fan, and also love movies in the romantic comedy or adventure genres. I also volunteer as a facilitator of the Grad Series for Insight Training Seminars and PTS, both organizations involved with personal growth.
