"I came home on military leave to find out that the owner of my apartment which I have lived in for 11 years plus and raised my children sold the building to a new owner whole wanted to remodel and raise the rent another $500. She gave the tenants who all had children 30 day notice to move. Because I am in the military, I was protected under the Soldier Sailor Act.
