"Russell supported by activities for months while I tried to train myself to new prices, new locations at a time when the market was uninterpretable. It was Russell's experience that proved most helpful for me and most useful to maintaining my confidence that I could purchase a new home closer to my downtown work location. We were involved with several short sales that never matured, but these were seller problems. I also went into escrow on one home until the owners refused to make even mandated repairs mandated, let alone consider the City of Monterrey Park's hill side mitigation plan that affected the property. I thought after months of searching Russell might be prone to "looking at the reasons why I should stay in escrow". Again, to his credit, and to building my confidence in him, he immediately and completely supported my rejection of this property. I never heard "I can't" from him. I got good advice--not a direction for me to act, but parameters I should consider in reaching a decision.
