That is exactly how Real Estate became my profession and I feel priviledged to help people achieve the "American Dream" of home ownership. I am a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Jacksonville to be near my best friend, Dee back in 2004. It wasn't very long before I met my husband, Dale and we were married in 2005. We each have three children to previous marriage - he, a son and two daughters and I, a daughter and two sons. All six range in age from 19 to 26 and all now live on their own.
We enjoy Nascar, football (GO STEELERS!!!), boating, fishing, camping and cooking. I love to read, cross stitch, crochet and crafts of most types.

"We have been trying to buy a home for nearly a year. We were referred by a broker to a few realtors who didn't have time for us. We felt as if we weren't good enough buyers to get the appropriate attention. We were working with a low amount of money, a long list of necessities, and a small area of town to work with. We knew we were looking for a needle in a haystack! One night I ran into ZipRealty.com and entered our info and the next day Ruth Pennell and Dee Wright got a hold of us and asked us about our situation and got background information on us and at the end of that phone call Ruth profusely promised us that she would make us happy and that she would not stop working for us and doing what she needed to do to meet our requirements. To be honest, with our past dealings with the other realtors, I was surprised and skeptical about her enthusiasm. It didn't take us long to realize that Ruth and Dee are for real! I am not really sure when in September we met them, I would say the middle of the month. They were on top of giving us listings and very prompt on getting information to us about listings we were interested in. When we finally found our home, they were very helpful in steering us towards placing the RIGHT offer. They were able to structure the deal to be in favor of both the buyer and the seller. No one can beat a win/win right? The whole time during this process they did nothing but make sure we were happy and comfortable with what they were doing. They were able to make what WAS a stressful time for us into a fun and exciting time. They always let us know exactly what we needed to do to make sure our ducks were in a row and we never felt like we were in the dark about anything. Our Mortgage people did a bad job of estimating our month to month cost and when we felt like there was nothing we could do, Ruth stepped right in and communicated with the mortgage company and took on our problem. She did a fantastic job handling our headaches. Another great thing is that we meet Ruth and Dee in the middle of September not knowing what we TRULY qualified for, not knowing where we would buy, not knowing how we could ever get this thing done by our timeline and really not knowing if what was even possible and by October 26th we closed. I mean...we knew nothing and they met all our requirements, money, time, space, location...all in less than a month and a half! That is amazing. We couldn't be happier about our experience with Ruth and Dee. Dee has a wealth of information and experience that is really priceless when you need to know where to cross the T's and dot the I's. Ruth and Dee have got to be the dream team of realtors! There will never be enough positive words to say about those two. They even gave us good ideas about remodeling the kitchen. They treated us so well and we are so happy that they were there with us every step of the way. We will tell absolutely everybody about Ruth and Dee. We will call them when it's time to sell and when it's time to buy our next home. We feel like we got a great home and a great set of friends as a bonus. PLUS we got all our money back at closing.
