I came into real estate after a 12 year career in Pharmaceutical and Chemical sales. At the time everyone thought I was crazy to make the switch. When I interviewed with ZipRealty, the district director even asked me why I wanted to get into real estate after being in Pharmaceutical sales. It's an interesting question, and the best answer that I have is that I really like real estate and I like helping people.
I've sold over 70 homes as a real estate agent and each transaction has been different. Some have been easy and some have made me want to pull my hair out, but I feel confident that I made buying or selling their homes easier for my clients. The types of properties that I have sold vary from single family homes and condos to vacation homes and investment properties. I must be doing something right because I've helped many of my past clients sell the first home that I helped them buy and move to a bigger home.
I don't look at being a real estate agent as just a job, but more as a profession. When clients put their trust in me, I owe it to them to be the most knowledgeable and well-organized agent possible. In terms of training, I have exceeded what the state of Arizona requires to sell real estate by obtaining my brokers license, a license that only 17% of Phoenix agents can claim. In addition to my training, I subscribe to multiple local and national real estate publications. As a resident of Scottsdale, I am well-versed in the East Valley real estate market, including Scottsdale, Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert and Chandler.
