Not only were we new to the whole home-buying experience, but we were looking in Northern Washington and living in Southern California. We only had a few days in Whidbey Island before we had to go back to San Diego, and Kathy blew us away with her patience and motivation to find us a home. First she found us a hotel in our price range. Then we saw probably about 30 homes in a 3 day span, and even went back to a few of them. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with old friends or family instead of someone we had just met. Her input was invaluable in our decision-making. She was able to point out things we either hadn't seen or thought of, or validated our own thoughts. And her husband is a realtor as well, so she brought him in for us when we had our choices narrowed down to offer his professional opinion. And it didn't stop there. After we went back to San Diego, she was our life-line. I really don't think we could have done this whole thing nearly as easily if we had gone through somebody else. I'm sure it would have gotten done, but we wouldn't have been nearly as satisfied. And now that the home-buying experience is over, she is still in close contact with us to make sure everything is going well for us and offering her assistance wherever possible. She even brought us a card to congratulate us on our new home with a $100 gift card to Home Depot to help us start our home projects!! We don't know if that is standard practice or not, but it sure meant a lot to us. We cannot recommend Kathy Fowler highly enough to anybody looking to buy a home.
