"I was looking at buying only very casually and Jackie was assigned to me via the ZipRealty website. I wasn't sure what to expect from her and was wary of an agent I had no experience with. However, she quickly proved her immense value by treating me very seriously and respectfully from the first time we spoke. She showed me around every house I asked her to and I never felt that she was hiding anything or pushing me to purchase. In fact, she would always point out any flaws she knew about in a home, and would steer me towards areas that she thought would suit me well. As a first time home buyer, the process was very daunting and complicated, but Jackie was always quick to get back to me on any questions. I cannot recall a single instance where Jackie didn't get back to me the same day if I emailed her or left a message. During the entire process I felt that Jackie was always going to bat for me and playing hardball during negotiations. "Jackie was presented with quite a challenge when she was assigned to assist me with my home search! For starters, I was new to the area, so I wanted to essentially see every condominium in my price range. Jackie must have shown me over 30 different properties over the course of the past year or so. She was never too busy for a showing, and she was completely accommodating to my schedule. Jackie provided me with key market insight which ultimately aided in my decision. In addition, I am a first-time homebuyer, so I had endless questions and concerns along the way. Jackie and I had several conversations and meetings (some which were over an hour and well past regular business hours) to walk me through the whole home-buying process. in situations where Jackie could not provide me counsel for specific legal reasons, she fully explained why she could not do so. When it came time to make the offer, Jackie was presented with another stumbling block in that the property I selected was being offered as a short sale. She took the time to explain what a short sale is and advised that the closing process could be quite extensive. After about 4 months of my regular status requests, my offer was finally accepted! Over the past month, Jackie has been vital in the closing phase of the deal. She patiently explained the relationship between all of the involved parties (lender, listing agent, escrow officer, etc.) and she kept me apprised of all developments in a timely manner. On my closing day, she obtained the keys from the listing agent and hand-delivered them to me along with a celebratory card and gift! Jackie made my first-time buying experience very memorable. Throughout the entire process, Jackie was attentive to my needs, responsive to all of my questions and extremely professional.
