In McLean, I subscribed to ZipRealty about two years before actually purchasing. I've spent four years working in McLean while living in LA, so suspected a move would make sense at some stage. Being able to see listings day after day over an extended period without hassle meant I
could learn about neighborhoods and, most importantly, VALUE, before ever walking around. The listing included almost everything I needed - especially detailed information on the schools the houses were connected
to, crucial for my decision.
Harry periodically would send me a friendly note, and never made a big deal about my multi-year decision-making process. When I was finally ready to see houses, he was tremendously cooperative, showing me quite a
few houses both near McLean and outside McLean, helping me see which ones made the most sense.
When I finally walked into the house that made sense for me, it was pretty clear. Given the hot market in McLean, we moved VERY quickly - saw the listing on-line in the evening, arranged a visit the next day, had an offer out within a few hours of that - all handled with
professionalism and speed by Mr. Brubaker, who took calls and made them at all hours. And the process leading to closing similarly handled with attention to detail, and a closing with no major surprises. A pro!
An equal pro, Brett Vratil, helped us in LA. Given the timing, we needed good, experienced help to get the right price on our home in LA to sell it at the right time. This during a time in Beverly Hills when there was almost NO stock near the pricing we thought we should ask for
- a very difficult setting in which to price and move real estate! Brett was efficient, careful, supportive, and on top of everything on his end - able to adjust his schedule to ours, moved the price as required, and then managed the several offers to get us the BEST offer for our circumstances. Our closing in LA and subsequent arrangement with the buyers (who we needed to let us stay in the house for an extended time to finish the school year) went off flawlessly. No surprises; no problems - another pro!
Finally, I arranged my purchase loan through e-Loan, with which you folks have a relationship... (e-Loan) did a wonderful job keeping that all on track, and getting me a
great rate at just the right time - and I could review where everything was on-line, on my schedule. You've got a relationship with real pros on the financial front too!
