Received an Award of Merit and Commendation from the United States Coast Guard for procuring residencies for more than 160 displaced Coast Guard men and women and their families after hurricane Andrew devastated Miami and surrounding areas, including the Coast Guard employee's personal homes. I received this award because I did this for the Servicemen and Women "Pro Bono" and didn't charge the Servicemen and Women or the Government any fees for my services; since this hurricane was truly a disaster for South Floridians and required thousands of volunteers to alleviate the effects of the disaster.
